This document is intended to be an agreement of service between Author Access (hereafter referred to as The Company) and the School/Organization for the purpose of raising funds for the school or organization.

Under the provisions of this agreement, The school will:

Actively promote the fundraiser by handing out promotional flyers to all students and at least one of the following - promote on school social media, promote through the school messaging system (either written or verbal), or other (to be approved by The Company). Promotional activities to last for 30 days (or mutually agreed to term)

The Company agrees to:

1. Provide printed or digital flyers to be handed out to the students. The Company will split the cost of printing and shipping the flyers 50/50 under the following terms. The School/Organization’s portion will be deducted by The Company from any payments due. If 25% of the school’s enrollment participates, The Company agrees to pay 100% of printing and shipping costs. The school is not responsible for any shortfall. The school may print their own flyers or distribute digitally with no cost to the school.

2. Provide, upon request, language that can be used for other promotional efforts (social media, call scripts, or written messages) and other materials - such as logos.

3. Pay the School/Organization 50% of realized (collected) subscriptions where the student (or participant) selects The School/Organization from the dropdown on the Author Access sign-up page or manually enters school name. The School/Organization will receive 75% of the subscription if the student/participant opts to order autographed books at the time of subscription sign up.

4. The School/Organization will receive 10% of any books ordered through authoraccess.net (offer does not include initial subscription/book bundle). School/Organization may also do group or bulk book orders at the rates provided on the website.

5. For participating, the school will receive a one-year subscription to Author Access to be used in the building.

6. Payment to the school will be distributed on the first Monday of the month following completion of the 30 day period plus one week. Subsequent payments to be distributed quarterly.

7. Following the original 30 days of the fundraiser, the school will continue to earn commissions on subscription sales and the same 50% and 75% rate. Payments to be made to the school on a quarterly basis.

8. Upon completion of the 1 year subscription, Author Access will extend renewal opportunities to subscribers. The School/Organization will receive the same percentages prescribed above.

The School/Organization and Company Agree:

This is a document agreed to in good faith to be executed through minor changes. This MOU can be declared null and void if found to be in violation of local, state, or national statute or deemed to be unlawful by a licensed attorney or in a court of law.
